Current Skincare Routine

I realised last night when taking my makeup off I've never done a skincare routine on my blog, mainly because I was never satisfied with what I was using but now I'm happy with my skin I thought I'd share with you guys what I use on a daily basis.

First of all I take my makeup off with baby wipes, which is apparently bad for your skin? But I've never had a problem..but if you guys could maybe recommend a makeup remover then it'd be much appreciated!

Secondly, I then wash my face with La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for oily sensitive skin which I reviewed here but basically love it!

After washing my face if it feels particularly dry or needs a 'pick me up' I spray the La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water* directly onto my face or sometimes spray onto a cotton pad. Not something you need in your skincare routine to be honest...

A new product from La Roche Posay, here we have the Nutric Intense Riche* targeted at dry/sensitive skin. Now I probably shouldn't be using this to be honest with my combination skintone but sometimes my skin can become dry and flaky so I pop this on before I goto bed, it's more of a balm in consistency but once applied to your face it melts beautifully into the skin and doesn't leave a film like some facial moisturisers do, I'm really impressed with how it works so if you suffer from dry skin I do recommend maybe trying this out, I will write up a separate review. Comes in both a jar and tube.

Lastly...the most talked about products from La Roche Posay: Effaclar Duo and Effaclar K*

I switch between two of these products, If my skin is playing up then I'll apply the Effaclar Duo at night but to be honest I'm not seeing any results from this so far so will continue to use...

Effaclar K* on the other hand I do see results, If I don't use the duo then I pop this on morning and night and can see a difference in my skintone/red marks left over from spots since using it.

So there you go my current skincare routine, sometimes I will switch to REN ClearCalm Cleanser if I'm having a bad skin day but at the moment this is what I'm constantly using to keep my skin clean and didn't realise it was all La Roche Posay products until I snapped up this picture but I do really rate their skincare!

  4. heard so many good things about this collection, need to check it out! Use baby wipes to makeup off too and never had any problems, usually splash water on my face too to get rid of any oils or whatever they get on your face (: xxxoxoxoo
