Pixi glow tonic

"Oxygenating. Exfoliating facial glow tonic. It helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. For all skin types. Alcohol free."

Today I share my thoughts on one of the most talked about products in the blogging world, Pixi Glow Tonic.

Whilst I rarely (touch wood) suffer from breakouts nowadays I do suffer from uneven skin tone/texture and blackheads. Acid toners are all the rage in sorting these kind of skin problems out, whilst I've been using these toners for a while curiosity gets the best of me and I'm always wanting to try out more.

I was first introduced to Pixi Glow Tonic last year when it landed on Caroline Hirons blog and everyone went out to purchase it making it pretty hard to get your hands on. Being a beauty blogger I get sucked into the hype so easy, if Caroline recommended it it's got to be good right?

I've been using this for MONTHS, since last year and it's under half full so considering the price it really does last a long time. So how does it work on the skin? I use this every single night for the past 6/7 months so I've really tested it out. I pop some product onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face especially concentrating on my problem areas, in the morning I don't particularly notice that my skin looks much more brighter/healthier. In all skin care products you have to persist to really notice a difference, so I did afterall nothing works overnight.

I persisted and still didn't notice a change in my skin, I thought it would of been especially good to work on red marks left over from those dreaded hormonal spots but no, one mark hasn't even got lighter which was disappointing and definitely won't repurchase when it's ran out.

Whereas this didn't work for me people claim it worked wonders for them so to really tell you need to try it out for yourself. I'm always left disappointed by over hyped products, did this not work for anyone else I'd love to know!

  2. I've heard from a few others that it didn't work for them either... probably just another hype. I certainly won't be making a purchase x
