I've never tried anything from La Roche-Posay before so I decided to go on the hunt for a new cleanser and noticed this in Boots, more so that it's aimed at imperfection/oily/sensitive skin. My skin type is more on the oily/sensitive side and prone to breakouts so this particular cleanser sounded perfect to me.
The cleanser is very simple to use, lather the gel between wet hands and apply to the face by massaging the skin gently - it foams up really well so you only need the smallest amount of product.
I've been using this cleanser religiously for around 4 months day and night and also using it with my Clarisonic on the night time when my face is in need of a good deep cleanse! After using this product my skin feels squeeky clean and extremely soft with no residue of the cleanser left behind and also doesn't leave my skin feeling uncomfortably tight like some cleansers aimed at oily skin.
When I first purchased this cleanser I did have a bad breakout and it seemed to have soothed and calmed the breakout. I can't say it's prevented some spots from appearing but they do seem to heal quicker nowadays but my skin is clearer nowadays so I don't need a cleanser targeted to spots but if you do suffer from spots/acne then maybe try this out because it's very mild.
Ingredients: Zinc, Salicylic Acid, La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water
This is the only product I've purchased/used from La Roche-Posay but can definitely say this cleanser is a keeper and shall keep on purchasing it and would like to try some other products from the brand to complete my skin care routine. The only really negative thing I have to say about this cleanser is the smell, it's not the nicest.
Has anyone else tried this cleanser or any other of the La Roche-Posay products which you would recommend?
