Ed's Easy Diner, Selfridges Birmingham

Hey guys, so something a little different on the blog today. A few weeks ago my friend and I went into Birmingham shopping, it's only a short train journey away and after shopping for 4 hours and not purchasing a single item it was time for food.

There's plenty of places to eat in Birmingham but we choose Ed's Easy Diner, it was something different and I always loved the look of it when I've walked past! Situated in the food hall in Selfridges it screamed out a classic retro american diner, where customers can relax at a booth/table or even sit at the counter equipped with genuine restored juke boxes.

Next onto the menu, ranging from hamburgers/chicken/veggie burgers/hot dogs and even salads Ed's cater for everyone. I opted for the original: with lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickle, mayonnaise and mild American mustard which you can either have solo or as an ED’S PLATE: Main + Fries + Onion Rings + Coleslaw.

Just looking at this picture makes my mouth water, ha! It was so yummy it was ridiculous, best burger I've ever tried, and those sweet potato fries and onion rings..oh my delicious!

The service in Ed's was spot on, we were served straight away and had drinks bought over to our table, the food took a maximum of 15 minutes which I was very impressed about, I hate waiting around when I'm hungry. Unfortunately I was too full up to order a dessert so I can't comment but judging from the food I'm sure they won't disappoint.

I can't recommend Ed's enough and can't wait to eat there again.
