Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Foundation...

"Soothing, natural-looking, liquid-creme makeup for concealing all skin imperfections, including surgical and acne scars, birthmarks, sun spots and varicose veins"

* Natural looking
* Long wearing
* Non transferable
* SPF15
* Full matte coverage
* Non-acnegenic

I can't remember where I first heard/read about this foundation but I started reading reviews and watching youtube videos about it and knew I had to try it out, it made everyones skin look absolutely FLAWLESS in the pics/vids I saw.

Anyway, I purchased it online from Debenhams for £25.50 which at first I thought was rather expensive for a foundation until I tried it out...

Choosing the correct shade was a problem, I didn't have a clue what shade to go for and online swatches weren't much help but I bit the bullet and decided on num 03 creamy vanilla, perfect match for when my tan was fading but not quite dark enough for when I have a tan.

Described as a full coverage foundation which I agree with, you need the tiniest bit to cover your whole face seriously it's amazing, really lightweight and doesn't feel thick or cakey on your skin at all! I have oily/combination skin and has amazing lasting power, don't have to touch up during the day. The only thing I don't like about this foundation (or foundation in general) is the SPF and how it washes you out in pics..apart from that it's the best foundation I've ever tried and would definitely recommend it to people who's after a lightweight full coverage foundation.

  2. I've heard great things about this too! I have the Double Wear and Double Wear Light.. Both are great and have amazing staying power.. But they're not full coverage in my opinion.. Will have to check this one out for that full coverage.. I trust Estee Lauder to always deliver ;)

    Great review hun.. Thanks so much =)

  6. I used to use this one but I switched to Vichy Dermablend I suffer with occasional spots. I find Vichy is a lot cheaper I think its £14 and it has great coverage too and people have said that my make up does not look so thick since I started using it. I have to say though I liked the Estee Lauder one though xx
