I can't remember where I first heard/read about this foundation but I started reading reviews and watching youtube videos about it and knew I had to try it out, it made everyones skin look absolutely FLAWLESS in the pics/vids I saw.

Anyway, I purchased it online from Debenhams for £25.50 which at first I thought was rather expensive for a foundation until I tried it out...

Choosing the correct shade was a problem, I didn't have a clue what shade to go for and online swatches weren't much help but I bit the bullet and decided on num 03 creamy vanilla, perfect match for when my tan was fading but not quite dark enough for when I have a tan.

Described as a full coverage foundation which I agree with, you need the tiniest bit to cover your whole face seriously it's amazing, really lightweight and doesn't feel thick or cakey on your skin at all! I have oily/combination skin and has amazing lasting power, don't have to touch up during the day. The only thing I don't like about this foundation (or foundation in general) is the SPF and how it washes you out in pics..apart from that it's the best foundation I've ever tried and would definitely recommend it to people who's after a lightweight full coverage foundation.

  1. Ooooh I wonder what the difference is between this and double wear? DW is my HG foundation, I love it! xxx

  2. I've heard great things about this too! I have the Double Wear and Double Wear Light.. Both are great and have amazing staying power.. But they're not full coverage in my opinion.. Will have to check this one out for that full coverage.. I trust Estee Lauder to always deliver ;)

Great review hun.. Thanks so much =)

  3. I really want to try this!!

    Sarah xx

  4. Great review! I'm rather intrigued about the double wear foundations atm xxx

  5. This is my favourite foundation too xx

  6. I used to use this one but I switched to Vichy Dermablend I suffer with occasional spots. I find Vichy is a lot cheaper I think its £14 and it has great coverage too and people have said that my make up does not look so thick since I started using it. I have to say though I liked the Estee Lauder one though xx

  7. Sorry I left a comment earlier and realised I have not tried this I have tried Estee Lauder Double Wear but not the Max Cover one I am thinking I will try this next time instead of Vichy it sounds really good xx

  8. i've been wanting to try this i think i just might after reading this review great post :) xx

  9. Like the range too! I blog current Japanese beauty secrets and rank it, so plz check it out! ThanX!

  10. Seems like a really amazing foundation, I really could have used this a couple of years ago when I had very problematic skin! Will have to swatch it when I get the chance, thanks for the great review <3 :)
